The Painted Door

I love a brightly painted front door!  They are so inviting, show your sense of style, and brighten up the front of your home.

Your front door is one of the first things that people see when they pass by or visit your house.  And painting your front door a fun, coordinating color is an easy and inexpensive way to instantly update and add curb appeal to your home.  It’s also a fun and stylish way to show your personality and put a little of your home’s interior style, on the outside.

So check out these great examples of how adding a little (or a lot) of color to your front door, can take your door from okay- to fabulous!

I am a huge sucker for aqua/turquoise doors.  They are fun, bright and remind me of the beach- and who doesn’t want to come home to the beach everyday?!?!

Purple doors are dramatic and so lovely.  It’s not a look for everyone- but it really makes a bold statement.

Now I know that Black is not a bright or new color for painted front doors.  But this black glossy front door is really stunning and classy.  The gloss finish makes this a high-end, classic look, that never goes out of style!

 

So no matter what your style, there is a color out there with your front door’s name on it.  And after all- it’s only paint, right?!?! 🙂
